About Me

Hi, I’m Sarah - the creator behind The Cover Story Studio.

I’m also a mum of two, and this whole idea started pretty simply - I just wanted to create something special for my own kids.

I kept thinking about how many beautiful, meaningful moments sit in our camera rolls and never really get seen again. So I started turning a few of my favourite photos into magazine-style covers for them.

Then I shared them with my inner circle of mum friends… and the response was immediate.
“This is incredible.”
“You have to do this.”

And that was the beginning.

By trade, I’m a speech pathologist, and I’m a completely self-taught digital designer. This studio sits right in the middle of both worlds for me - storytelling, connection, and creating something that actually means something to families.

The Cover Story Studio is about holding onto who your child is right now.

Not staged.
Not overdone.
Just them - turned into something you can keep, display, and come back to.

Each cover is created from your own photo and thoughtfully styled into a magazine-style design that tells a story about your child at this exact point in their life.

Every piece is custom designed and printed on lustre photo paper, ready to become part of your home, your walls, and your story.
